Our Primed Pine is called P5: these are solid defect free boards, without fingerjoints, that are treated against decay and insects then are oil primed and oil top coated. This primed pine is backed by a 30 year warranty and is Forest Stewardship Council certified. EPA approved for interior and exterior use.

Red Cedar’s rich texture, durability and dimensional stability make it the preferred choice for exterior trim and finish work. Western Red Cedar is one of the most rot and decay resistant species of wood in the world. Left untreated it will weather to a silvery gray or it can provide an excellent base for stain or paint.

We carry the finest grade of poplar. Our poplar is regraded to remove all the knots and defects to provide a near perfect product. This premium hardwood offers the beauty, durability, and longevity that end users expect and need. Poplar is a preferred wood species for fine millwork and painted trim. Custom profiles and priming is available.

Our Pressure Treated wood products are treated with the Osmose MicroPro process. This process results in the release of 90% to 99% less copper into aquatic and terrestrial environments when compared to standard treated wood products. This makes MicroPro an ideal treatment for lumber used for decks and outdoor projects on Nantucket. All standard framing dimensions are in stock along with decking and landscape timbers. Custom orders for docks, piers and water contact are available as well.

• 1x4 Douglas Fir--Douglas Fir is a very beautiful and versatile wood and has rot resistant qualities, which allows it to be used outdoors. Our Douglas Fir is essentially knot free and is "vertical grain" this means that the grain of the wood is very straight and parallel with the next growth ring, which creates a uniform appearance and makes Fir less likely to warp or twist on the job.
• 1x4, 5/4 x 6 Red Balau--Red Balau is a very durable Mahogany from Indonesia. This hardwood's natural resistance to shrinkage, splintering and checking has made it a terrific wood for use as an ideal and beautiful decking material.
• 1x6 IPE (pronounced EE-pay) is the finest quality wood available. From the Atlantic City Boardwalk, to Las Vegas' Resort Hotel Treasure Island, to your own backyard, nothing keeps its integrity or lasts as long as IPE Decking. IPE is an exotic hardwood that is naturally resistant to rot and decay. One of the hardest and most durable decking products available.

We carry some of the highest quality spruce framing lumber, studs and dimensional stock; available in lengths up to 24'. In our line of framing lumber we have well known brands such as Chaleur, Tolko, Dunkley and Canfor. For engineered lumber, we offer TrusJoist by Weyerhaeuser. From LVLs to floor joists to framing, the TrusJoist brand is the product of choice for builders and architects when it comes to engineered wood.

We have many profiles of pine mouldings to choose from. We also carry a signature design collection of mouldings called "The Sankaty Collection". These profiles are manufactured from solid primed poplar and represent some of the more popular profiles used on Nantucket. For exterior use we carry several moulding profiles manufactured from Red Cedar that will enhance any exterior trim detail.
• Custom profiles are available as special orders in any of these collections and other species as well.

Assorted interior plywood s come in a range of thicknesses, 1/4 - 3/4. Arauco, MDF, Nantucket Beadboard (in various patterns), birch plywood, pre-finished maple. For the exterior, we carry all of your typical sheathing products from 1/2 - 3/4 thick as well as Advantec sub floor. We carry sheetrock and Imperial wallboards (blueboard) in 1/2 and 5/8 thickness, 4x8 and 4x12 sheets.
